Grilled Paneer aka Cottage Cheese Steaks is a perfect as an Vegetarian / Low Carb / Low Calorie / Keto Appetizer/Starter wherein succulent pieces of Paneer are marinated with Mixed Herbs and Chilli flakes and grilled on a pan in butter.
A Delicious combination of Indian Paneer prepared in Italian Mixed Herbs makes it a perfect combination for kids party or Cocktail / Kitty Party as well. Paneer pieces soak up all the spices and flavors in such a jiffy and gets grilled in a short time that you can make it for unexpected guests or as a last minute starter.

Make sure to slice the Paneer pieces thickly so as to retain its soft and creamy texture, making sure to grill on medium heat only. If grilled on high heat on for a longer time, the herbs will burn and give a bitter taste.
If you omit the butter and pair it with a salad, you have a complete meal that is low-calorie, low-carb, keto-friendly and whole 30 compliant. Perfect for weight watchers as well.
This recipe is on the regular rotation in my meals due to ease and benefits mentioned above. Here, I have served it with Pan Grilled Veggies. But you can serve as a Sizzler or with Pan Fried Rice in Butter with Garlic and Herbs or Peri Peri Chicken Fried Rice.
